



The Corinth Fire Department is staffed by a Full-
Time Chief, 2 Full-Time Paramedics and 40 Paid/Call
Firefighters. The Corinth Fire Department responds
to over 800 calls annually.
The Fire Chief is in the Station Monday thru Friday 7 AM to 5 PM

Fire Suppression
Our Fire Suppression forces consist of a full-time Fire Chief, a full-time Paramedic and a force of Call Firefighters and Officers. We currently operate with 4 - Engines, 1 - 65 Foot Telesquirt, 1 Brush Truck and 2 Ambulances. On the Ladder Truck we also carry the Hurst Tool for vehicle extrication.
EMS Response
The Corinth Fire Department, in conjuction with Mayo Regional Hospital, responds at the ALS level from the Corinth Fire Station to all EMS calls in Corinth, Charleston, and Bradford. As a back-up the Corinth Fire Department also staffs a second transport ambulance permitted to the Intermediate level.
Fire Prevention
The Corinth Fire Department has an aggressive prevention program, fire prevention programs are given yearly to students at the Elementary School, several pre-schools and day cares. We also make presentations at Corinthian Manor and to several civic groups such as The Boy Scouts. Call the fire station to request a program or a station tour.
Code Enforcement
The Corinth Fire Chief assists the town Code Enforcement Officer in Enforcing N.F.P.A. 101 (Life Safety Code).
Inspections
Business' and individuals may call the station to schedule a safety, wood stove or chimney Inspection. Most business' are inspected yearly.
Burn Permits Online Burn Permits
Burn permits are will be issued online only at this time. A reminder that all open outside fires require a permit. Failure to obtain a permit can result in legal action from the State of Maine.
